Step 1. Start with a square shape paper. If it is origami colored paper, put it white side up.
Step 2. Fold the paper in half by folding the top corner to the bottom corner to get a triangle. And then unfold it back.
Step 3. Fold the left corner to the right corner, getting a triangle again, and unfold it back
Step 4. Fold the top corner to the center and the bottom corner to the top edge
Step 5. Fold the bottom left and right edges to the center bend
Step 6. Fold the top, left, and right corners on the heart back
Step 7. If it not colored paper, paint your heart with the desired color
